Chicago Smith Music has released a new album: The Third Seven

This eclectic blend of urban blues combines a gritty earthy sound with lyrics based on the life experiences of the musicians. It spins off the First & Second Seven (released in 2016 & 2018).

The Third Seven comes together under the pervasive influence of  political unrest, emotional chaos, romantic connection, and hope. The artists, each coming into their own expressions through word & sound yet melding together easily in thought and musical direction.

Each song has its own unique sound personality: From a Canadiana influence (Halifax on the Ocean, Midnight Train) to slide, rock & blues (Dime for the Devil, When It Comes to Love) with a smattering of new age/jazz (That’s Me). The Third Seven was produced through studio and online recordings.
